Every year, the Society for Storytelling coordinates National Storytelling Week. Schools, care homes, libraries and many other institutions and individuals up and down the country engage in a range of events to celebrate the power of story. To help with this, they produce comprehensive resource packs full of fun activity ideas, telling tips, sound tracks and videos. Why not call in to one of the libraries in North Cornwall to find some books to inspire your children with storytelling?

For pre-school children, there are some Rhymetime and Storytime events that happen weekly at Bodmin and Launceston libraries.
